Procurement Manager – Energy Solutions

Role Summary:

As a Procurement Manager, you will lead the procurement function for energy transition projects. You will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials, equipment, and services from suppliers while ensuring the best value for the organization. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement activities for energy transition projects, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Develop procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and budgets.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring quality and compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor market trends and make recommendations for cost optimization and procurement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement management within the energy sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or GEP Smart for managing procurement workflows, supplier selection, and sourcing strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Skills in using Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx to analyze procurement data, track spending patterns, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Experience with software such as Riskmethods, IntegrityNext, or LexisNexis to monitor supplier compliance, manage risks, and ensure adherence to anti-corruption and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Knowledge of FIDIC & NEC ( International Federation of Consulting Engineers ) contracts for EPC projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 for quality management and ensuring supplier adherence to certifications like ISO 14001 for environmental compliance & EU VAT Compliance.
