Estimator – Energy Solutions (Cost Control Division)

Role Summary:

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for energy transition projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project teams to develop estimates that align with project goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for various project phases, including design, procurement, and construction.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to develop accurate cost projections.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.
• Work with project managers to ensure estimates are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Provide input on cost-saving strategies and value engineering options.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project estimation within the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation processes and tools.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CostX, Sage Estimating).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Adherence to the FIDIC Red Book (Conditions of Contract for EPC/Turnkey Projects) for calculating project costs accurately in line with international standards.
• Ensuring that estimates align with both technical specifications and quality assurance procedures, including detailed itemization for labor, materials, and overheads as per the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
• Knowledge of International Cost Estimating Standards such as AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) and ICEC (International Cost Engineering Council) guidelines to ensure the estimation process adheres to global best practices and ethical standards.
