Contracts Manager – Energy Solutions

Role Summary:

As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee the contractual aspects of energy transition projects, ensuring that all contracts are managed effectively, compliance is maintained, and project deliverables are met on time and within budget. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that contractual obligations are understood and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts for energy transition projects.
• Ensure that contracts align with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor and manage contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Work with legal and procurement teams to resolve any contract disputes or issues.
• Provide guidance on contractual matters to project managers and other team members.
• Review and approve change orders, claims, and variations to contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Law, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a contract management role, preferably in the energy or construction sectors.
• Strong understanding of contract law and project management principles.
• Experience in negotiating and managing contracts within energy projects.
• Knowledge of industry-standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with risk management processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
